Made on Earth recognises that it is the skill and dedication of the Indonesian people that has played such a large part in the company’s success.
That is why we offer practical help to the communities around Java, donating five per cent of all profits to children’s charities.
It means a school for children with disabilities now has a minibus. Teachers no longer have to pick pupils up on the back of a motorbike.
The help has also bought bedding and mattresses for an orphanage where children were sleeping on the floor.
Richard also spends several weeks every year in Indonesia, not only driving the quality and standards of the manufacturing, but also checking on the working and social conditions of the local people.
Made on Earth sits comfortably with its social responsibility.
